Swiss delegation at NLSDays 2025: “We’ll be back next year!”
For the first time, a Swiss pavilion was part of the exhibition at NLSDays in Gothenburg. And the head of the delegation is confident they will return next year with an even larger presence.
The NLSDays communication team spoke with Gustav Henriksson, Head of Swiss Business Hub Nordics at the Embassy of Switzerland in Sweden, who organized the Swiss pavilion. Judging by the feedback from delegation members, the pavilion was a clear success.
“I’ve received a lot of positive feedback from our delegation members, and if our delegation is happy, then we’re happy!” he said.
While the Swiss delegation included only five companies, several other Swiss firms participated independently, raising the total number of Swiss companies at the conference.
“We’ve met Swiss companies who are not part of our delegation here who say they’ll join us next year. They came independently, but now they see the value of participating together. They’ve seen what we organize and the added value we bring,” explained Gustav.
The Swiss delegation also took part in a well-attended Global Insights Session, where they presented the Swiss life science industry, highlighting what makes Switzerland a life science powerhouse, where the hubs and innovation clusters are located, where to find talent, and how to connect with investors.
Delegation representatives say they consider Nordic Life Science Days as the event in the combined life science and health tech space in the Nordics. Their aim, they say, is to bridge the physical gap between the Nordic and Swiss ecosystems to build up a steady exchange.
The positive experience at NLSDays in Gothenburg has left a strong impression. The Swiss are already planning their return for NLSDays 2026 in Stockholm, and they promise to bring a pavilion filled with Swiss chocolate.
“Yes, it’s already decided that we’ll be back next year!”
